Reflections, Growth, and New Beginnings: My 2024 Christmas Letter
Hi Friends & Family,
This year has truly been one for the books—a year of transformation, faith, and new beginnings. As we close out 2024, I wanted to take a moment to share my journey with you. Life has been full of changes, and while I’ve been focusing on myself, my faith, and the path God is leading me on, I realized I missed sending out Christmas cards. So, consider this my heartfelt update and holiday greeting wrapped into one!

If you’re taking the time to read this, thank you—it means the world to me.
The Big 4-0
This year, I turned 40. It hit me hard, not because of the age, but because I reflected on how quickly life was passing by. I had moments of wondering if I’d lost years or missed opportunities. But God reminded me that sometimes things can take 40 years to come together. Turning 40 wasn’t just another birthday—it was a turning point.
New Chapters, Hard Goodbyes
This year also marked the end of my marriage. It’s been a tough journey, and while some have judged me, I’ve found peace knowing that God forgives and restores.
In September, another chapter closed when I lost my corporate HR position. I didn’t see it coming, and at first, it felt like everything was falling apart. But in reality, God was shutting a door I was too scared to close myself. While many encouraged me to jump back into job applications, I felt God calling me to pause, listen, and surrender. Feel free to check out my very first blog about this experience.
Learning to Surrender
Over the past few years, surrendering my plans to God has been my greatest lesson. This season was no different. With the love and support of my family and church, I leaned into faith, trusting God to guide me.
As I prayed and reflected, I came across a Bible note I had written in 2023. In that prayer, I asked God to guide me and help me lean into opportunities to get more involved in ministry. This prayer was placed on my heart after hearing a powerful message from our pastor that morning at church. I asked God if there was more I should be doing—whether at church or elsewhere in ministry—to step up and help meet the need for more people spreading the Good News. I acknowledged that He had provided for me in the past and trusted that He would continue to lead me down the path He had prepared for me. Seeing that note reminded me of how God has been answering prayers I prayed long ago. He prepared me for this season—giving me an opportunity when I needed to save, build my confidence, and guide me toward the resources I’d need to stand firmly on the path He’s set before me.
A New Path Forward
Over the past three months, I’ve been building a business that allows me to pour into others, helping them grow in their faith and purpose. At the same time, I’ve partnered with Kingdom Alliance—a community that’s empowering me to grow, save, and earn while staying aligned with God’s calling for my life. It’s been such a blessing to rediscover the sense of teamwork, continue using my skills, and develop new ones as I boldly walk in His plan.
God has provided an incredible opportunity for me to create a lifestyle centered around what matters most—faith, purpose, and family. In this journey, I realized I was often pouring into others without taking the time to invest in my own growth. Through Kingdom Alliance, I’ve found a way to focus on my personal development while creating meaningful opportunities to give back and help others do the same.
Reflecting on the Kids
The kids are doing well. My oldest entered her last year of middle school, and the littles are enjoying first and third grade. We had a blast this year at our community pool where we were able to extend the pool season into OCTOBER! We also had a ton of fun at Nelson's Farm this past summer and, of course, all the "Corny" visits to Mitchell. One of our highlights was spending a week on the beaches in San Diego.
The kids are also looking forward to our upcoming trip to Grand Bear Resort—a special Christmas present I planned for them instead of spending the holiday budget in stores. A big thanks to Kingdom Alliance for helping me save hundreds on this trip. They’re excited, and so am I!
Looking Ahead to 2025
As I look back on this year, I see God’s fingerprints throughout my story. From the pain of endings to the joy of new beginnings, He has carried me through it all. When you put God first, the impossible truly becomes possible.
A few months ago, I came across a quote that deeply resonated with me, and I want to share it with you:
I couldn’t have navigated any of this without God. Every step of the way, it’s been Him—and I have no one to thank, but God.
Now, for a little (selfless) sales plug to close:
If you’re ready to invest in yourself, save more, and earn more while staying grounded in faith, I’d love to connect with you! Whether it’s joining my Empowered Women of Faith group (sorry, men—it’s for women only!), partnering with Kingdom Alliance, or exploring opportunities to grow in faith and purpose, let’s chat.
To everyone who has cheered me on—thank you. Whether it’s watching my “cringy” (my daughter's words, not mine!) videos, sending encouraging messages, or quietly supporting me in your own way, I couldn’t do this without your love and support.
Here’s to a new year full of growth, purpose, and unwavering faith.
Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year!
Megan
