Un-Valentine’s Summit: Finding Faith, Self-Worth, and Love That Never Fails

Un-Valentine’s Summit: Finding Faith, Self-Worth, and Love That Never Fails

I recently had the opportunity to speak at an Un-Valentine's Summit—a moment that came with an unexpected twist! For weeks, I had the wrong date on my calendar, shared announcements, and promoted the event for Wednesday, February 12th. Twenty minutes before I thought I’d go live, the host informed me it was actually scheduled for the next day!

Rather than panic or cancel, I embraced the moment and went live in my women’s group as a practice round. That extra day turned out to be a blessing—an opportunity for encouragement, feedback, and growth. More than anything, it was an answer to a prayer I made at the start of the year: to grow my confidence and share my testimony with other women.

A few years ago, I might have thrown in the towel. But this time, I stayed the course, trusting that God was guiding me. I didn’t change my promotions—I simply showed up twice, ready to share my story. On Wednesday, I spoke to a few women in my group; on Thursday, I reached hundreds.

This experience reminded me of Psalm 107:2: “Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!” We grow through every opportunity, and sometimes, what feels like a mistake is actually God’s preparation.

I’m grateful for the chance to share my Un-Valentine’s story here and on my YouTube channel. Your feedback is welcome as I continue learning, growing, and embracing the calling God has placed on my heart. 💖

Un-Valentine’s Summit: Finding Faith, Self-Worth, and Love That Never Fails

Valentine’s Day often brings hearts, roses, and reminders of love—but what if this year, you find yourself without a Valentine? What if, instead of feeling lonely or unworthy, you chose to focus on a relationship that never fails? That’s what I shared at the Un-Valentine’s Summit: my journey through heartbreak, loss, and the deep, unwavering love I found through faith.

Losing Everything... or Gaining Everything?

In 2024, my life changed completely. Divorce, job loss, and broken relationships left me feeling lost and empty. For years, I thought I had it all—a college degree, a career, a marriage—but I was missing the most important thing: God at the center. It took losing what the world told me was 'everything' to realize that true love, provision, and peace come from God alone.

God’s Timing Over Ours

I know the ache of loneliness and the temptation to fill that void with quick fixes. Dating apps, social media, and distractions never heal the heart’s deepest wounds. But here’s what I’ve learned: When we stop chasing worldly love and seek God first, everything else falls into place. Romans 12:2 reminds us: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

God is preparing something beautiful for you—but first, He wants your heart. He wants to be your Valentine before He sends you the right person. When you are whole in Him, you’ll recognize the love that aligns with your purpose.

The Power of Forgiveness

Loving others—even those who hurt us—is one of the hardest parts of this journey. Divorce brings pain and resentment, but holding onto bitterness only holds us back. Luke 6:28 says, "Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."

Forgiveness is not about forgetting or excusing someone’s behavior. It’s about releasing the weight from your heart and allowing God to heal you. I had to start by asking God to help me forgive my ex-spouse. It didn’t happen overnight, but through prayer and time with God, I found freedom.

Loving Yourself Through God's Eyes

Self-worth is not defined by your relationship status. You are worthy because God says you are. He calls you His beloved, and your value comes from being His child. Spending daily time with Him in prayer, worship, and scripture will remind you of this truth.

My Journey with Kingdom Alliance

This season of my life also led me to a new path with Kingdom Alliance, where I now serve as a Platinum Ambassador. KA has provided me with community, professional growth, and the opportunity to help other women find faith, purpose, and financial freedom. It's a reminder that God truly works all things for our good.

If you’re entering this Valentine’s Day feeling broken, alone, or unseen, I want you to know this: You are already deeply loved. God is your Valentine today and every day. Trust His timing, embrace His healing, and watch Him rewrite your story with a love that never fails.
